Marie Sweeney Khalifa
Mindset & Performance Coach for Young Adults (16–24 yrs)
As a parent, you want your young adult to feel confident, capable, motivated — and happy.
But so many parents today are noticing the opposite:
• A son or daughter who’s lost confidence
• Stress, overwhelm, or anxiety creeping in
• Struggles with motivation, study habits, or focus
• Pressure from school, sport, social media, or expectations
• A young adult who is bright — but not believing in themselves
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. And most importantly — your young person is not broken. They simply need the right support, tools, and understanding.
Who I Am
I’m a Mindset & Performance Coach who specialises in supporting young adults through this crucial period of their development. My background spans 18 years in the fields of education, health promotion, and coaching, and I bring a warm and structured approach to helping young people grow, grounded in evidence-based mental performance principles. Alongside my coaching work, I also support secondary schools and postgraduate students, including working as a Skills Assessor & Research Supervisor for third level and further education programmes.
My academic training includes:
• M.Ed in Coaching & Mentoring
• BSc in Health Promotion & Public Health
• HDip in Education
• Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Personal Coaching
These qualifications support my practical experience and help me understand how young adults learn, think, communicate, and thrive.
How I Help
My approach helps young people:
• Rebuild confidence and self-belief
• Manage pressure, nerves, and stress
• Improve focus, organisation, and habits
• Strengthen resilience and emotional regulation
• Develop motivation, discipline, and healthy routines
Parents trust me because I work with both care and clarity — offering a safe space where young people feel understood, while guiding them forward with practical, effective tools.
Schools trust me because my work is grounded, ethical, professional, and highly relevant to the real challenges schools and colleges see every day.
Why I Care
Today’s young adults are navigating more pressure and noise than any generation before them. Many are trying to cope alone — quietly struggling even when they look “fine.”
They deserve support.
They deserve understanding.
And they deserve tools that genuinely help them grow, not just get through the week.
My mission is to help young people become stronger, more confident, more resilient, and better equipped for whatever comes next — academically, athletically, and personally.
If you're a parent, guardian, educator or work with a group/team of young adults…
And you’re worried or unsure what your young person needs, or simply want to give them the best possible support — I’m here to help.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You just need to take the first step.
Get in touch — I’d be honoured to support your young adult.
